What is the Role of the Registrar’s Office?
The Registrar’s Office supports students and administrators with academic records, registration, enrollment, transcripts, and degree verification, while upholding the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) privacy standards. The Registrar office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Leave of Absence

Notice of Withdrawal
Students who wish to withdraw from AWSOM must notify the Registrar and complete the required Notice of Withdrawal form. Tuition refunds, if applicable, are assessed in accordance with AWSOM’s Tuition Refund Policy.
Withhold Directory Information
In accordance with FERPA, students may request to withhold their directory information to prevent its inclusion in public-facing materials, such as graduation programs or other Alice L. Walton School of Medicine communications. This request can be submitted directly to the Registrar's Office.
Name Change Request
Students may update their legal name on official student records by contacting the Registrar’s Office for assistance.
Enrollment Documentation
Students may request enrollment verification from the Registrar’s Office for loan, insurance, or other official documentation needs.
Review Academic Records
Under FERPA, students may review and request amendments to their academic records through the student portal or by contacting the Registrar’s Office.
Transcript Requests
Students may access their unofficial transcript through the student portal. Official transcript requests can be submitted directly to the Registrar’s Office.
