Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) is a visionary institution dedicated to transforming medical education through the lens of whole health, art, and innovation. The School is located on the Crystal Bridges Campus in Bentonville, Arkansas, where nature, architecture, and wellness come together to support future physicians.

    • Closed on weekends and major holidays

  • AWSOM is closed to the public April 10, 2026; May 4-5, 2026; and May 18-19, 2026

  • The Teaching Garden is for educational purposes for AWSOM faculty and students

    • Please do not harvest items from the garden

  • Trails on the Crystal Bridges Campus connecting to AWSOM are open from sunrise to sunset daily

  • Free parking is available at Crystal Bridges Campus Parking

Visitors have access to several thoughtfully designed public areas within the AWSOM building and grounds, including the lobby, art gallery, AWSOM Café, Rooftop Park, Healing Garden, pond and wetland terrace, Community Lawn, and the amphitheater at the main entrance. Each space offers a unique opportunity to experience art, wellness, and nature, inviting guests to explore and engage during regular public hours.

The art gallery features rotating exhibitions curated by Art Bridges Foundation. The inaugural exhibition, "Good Medicine", was a collection of Indigenous art exploring the connections between community, cultural traditions, and well-being. The current exhibition, "In Visible Landscapes", is on display Feb. 2, 2026 to Aug. 14, 2026.
