Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM)’s Library supports the innovative teaching, research, and clinical activities of the School by providing the latest electronic library resources, technology, and supportive tools to enhance the discovery and research process. The Library provides access to 28 databases, nearly 48,000 journal titles, and 360,000 eBooks.

Library Facilities
The AWSOM Library is a 4,000-square-foot space that seats up to 58 students. Six additional quiet study rooms are located adjacent to the Library. Individualized study space and full-time library personnel are available to provide comprehensive services.
The AWSOM Library is open during building operational hours.
Library Resources
The AWSOM Library houses a comprehensive suite of digital resources designed to support research, education, and clinical practice. The collection includes 28 specialized databases spanning medicine, anatomy, whole health, art, and evidence-based practice. In addition, users can explore nearly 40,000 journal titles, ensuring broad coverage of current scholarship and scientific advancements. Complementing these resources are more than 360,000 eBooks, including core medical texts, reference works, and interdisciplinary materials that foster lifelong learning.
All resources are available online both on and off campus 24/7, enabling students, faculty, and clinicians to access authoritative information anytime, anywhere. Virtual consultations with a reference librarian are also available. Instructional services provide 24/7 student support with virtual chat, online interactive tools, one-on-one research sessions, and in-class instruction.
